Both were similar in that they had loads of good games but no killer app.
Out of the two libraries NSMBU was probably the pick of the titles, while Xbox One had greater choice and diversity. I've been very happy with each.
What's that? Sorry, I can't hear you over this FREE GAME.
Edit: WHAT? COULD YOU REPEAT THAT!? THIS FREE GAME IS SO FREE I CAN'T HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING?
And it was free, as in, actually free :)
My console came with a free copy of Fifa.
Oh, Kotaku..
If lots of people choose to support it then they don't agree with you it's a problem. I guess we'll see how it plays out.
Not for me, but if people want to throw down money for additional stuff that's up to them.
Haven't used the new Dualshock yet but the Xbox One controller is godlike.
Nintendo should seriously consider a 3D Donkey Kong game.
I lol'd at 'Xfone'. Well played.
It's just a really strong lineup however you slice it. There isn't one standout great game but rather a wealth of good ones, across a whole bunch of genres.
Well done, Microsoft.
Probably was. I'm sure they got an entire new wardrobe out of it, never mind hats.
Great choice for #1 :)
I think it was a parody..
'XBOX'.
'BROWSE.'
'TO.'
'PORNHUB.'
'XBOX! BROWSE. TO. PORNHUB!'
I'm sure people won't mind saying 'XBOX - BROWSE TO PORNHUB!'
Which isn't to say the series can't be good under Activision, or indeed bad under Sony. I'd just like to see the character back, to be honest. We've seen the likes of Killer Instinct, Mega Man, Contra and Donkey Kong Country revived really well in recent years - why not Crash?
Now that they know there's some level of demand for it they'd be wise to capitalise while they can, feels like a long time since the last one.
'Xbox - use a code'.
Direct mention of Phantom Dust in that interview.. always wanted to play that game, hopefully with all this talk of reviving old IP it'll happen!
